If you’re an aspiring world traveler, but have no money, have no fear. Traveling around the world on a tight budget is by no means impossible. So how to do it? Well there are many variables, but a good place to start is at BudgetGlobetrotting.com, an International Budget Travel blog.

Many questions arise as young, or old, travelers first decide they want to travel abroad. A few are:

  • Should students get an international student ID? No, I think that they are mostly a waste of time.  Unless you have a specific itinerary where you know that you will use a specific car rental that gives discounts through student IDs, do not get one.
  • Where can I party on the cheap internationally? Or what is the best foreign beer? Big question for those studying abroad in college.
  • What is the tourist saturation is where I am traveling?  Well, very high if you’re going anywhere in the Caribbean. Expect to trip over fellow Americans in the Cayman Islands.  Other countries tend to vary greatly.

To find answers like the above, check out the rest of Budget Globetrotting. It is a valuable resource for all aspiring budget travelers, because it features budget travel tips, news, ideas, and destinations.
